A little
over a year after debuting as a solo artist, Henry will be making a comeback.
After
Henry had some fun teasing fans for a few days by posting pictures on Twitter
and Instagram, SM Entertainment has confirmed that the Super Junior-M member
will be making a solo comeback this month.
Henry's
second mini-album, Fantastic, will be released in mid-July.
The
singer collaborated with the songwriting team Noizebank on four songs, in order
to produce an extraordinary album. Henry is well known for his musical genius,
and will not only sing on the album, but also had a hand playing the
instruments and composing the music.
The
mini-album will have a total of six songs on it.
Prior
to the official announcement, Henry began posting pictures of himself in the recording
studio starting in June. At the time, it was unclear whether Henry was singing
in the studio as a solo artist, or for his activities as a Super Junior-M
member.
However,
on July 3, the idol shared a picture on Instagram that revealed he was in the
studio recording with his violin. While Henry has played the violin on several
Super Junior songs, based on the fact that he's played some of the instruments
for "Fantastic," it seems that the picture is of Henry preparing his
album.
The
picture was uploaded with the caption ""another day in the studio.
music start."
Henry
has recently been active, promoting Super Junior-M's latest song
"Swing," and appearing on the popular variety show, Real Men. Since
debuting as a solo artist last year, Henry's popularity has increased so
expectations for this album are very high.
When
Henry debuted as a solo artist last year, he became SM Entertainment's first
male solo artist in thirteen years.
SM
Entertainment has stated that Henry's Fantastic mini-album will be
released on July 14.
